Adopt-A-Shore Clean Up with Cub Scout Pack #45 of Sharpsville and SRW — April 25

Our clean up activities to celebrate Earth Day extended into a second weekend this year. On April 25 we spruced up the outflow area (our Adopt-A-Shore area) of the US Army Corps of Engineers Shenango Reservoir Project. We were happy to have about 30 volunteers between the members of Cub Scout Pack #45 (of Sharpsville) and their leaders along with our own SRW members.

This large group was able to canvas all of the trails, drives, walkways, and parking lots of this area. The areas were policed for litter and the charcoal grills were emptied of last years ashes. The scouts raked the trails where the remaining leaves from last fall were encroaching.

Thanks to Pack #45 for helping us out in get this area into fine shape for the many people who are sure to visit as the temperatures warm.
