Upcoming Events in 2010
It's early in the year, but now is the time when we at SRW plan to enjoy the recreation, and also tackle the work ofx restoring and protecting the Shenango River Watershed. We don't know our schedule for sure, but here are a few things (and dates) that we know about in 2010.- Earth Day Clean Up Event — April 17 or April 24
- The 40th Anniversary of Earth Day is April 22. We are certain to hold a Clean Up event on the Saturday either before or after the actual Earth Day.
- Memorial Day Tire Recycling — Saturday May 29
- Memorial Day is May 31 this year. We try to have a tire recycling collection on the Saturday before the actual holiday.
- The Ohio River Sweep — June 19
- The Ohio River Sweep is a day of widespread, multi-state clean up activity in the Ohio River drainage and we generally try to arrange some form of Clean Up event to participate in our part of it.
